Privacy Policy

In this policy, “Gah,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the provider of the Gah application. “You” refers to anyone who uses Gah.

Gah is designed to keep your personal calendar content on your device. Your personal events, birthdays, notes, selected images, reminders, notification preferences, and calendar settings are stored locally on your device and are not uploaded to our own servers.

Gah uses Firebase for diagnostics, crash reporting, performance monitoring, and technical improvement of the application.

Depending on the features you use, Gah may store the following information locally on your device:

• Personal events.
• Birthdays.
• Notes.
• Reminders.
• Selected images.
• Notification preferences.
• Calendar settings.
• Language preferences.
• Appearance preferences.
• Other app customization choices.

Gah does not upload this personal calendar content to our own servers.

You are responsible for maintaining access to your device and keeping appropriate backups of any information that is important to you.

You may add personal events, birthdays, reminders, notes, dates, and related information to Gah.

This information is stored locally on your device.

Gah does not use your personal events, birthdays, reminders, notes, selected images, or personal calendar information for advertising, profiling, or tracking.

Gah does not sell, rent, or share your personal calendar content with third-party advertisers.

When you choose an image for an event or another feature, Gah may access the specific image you select.

Selected images are used only to provide the feature you requested.

Gah does not access your entire photo library when access to selected photos is sufficient.

Selected images are stored locally on your device and are not uploaded to our own servers.

Gah may request access to your approximate or precise location to calculate information such as sunrise, sunset, daylight length, and other location-based calendar information.

Location information is used only for the requested feature. Whenever technically possible, these calculations are performed on your device.

Gah does not use your location to create advertising profiles.

You may deny or revoke location access through your device settings. Some location-based features may not function correctly without this access.

Gah may request permission to send notifications for events, reminders, calendar occasions, or other features selected by you.

Notification preferences and scheduled reminders are generally stored and processed locally on your device.

You may disable notifications at any time through Gah or your device settings.

Gah uses Firebase to improve performance, diagnose technical problems, monitor stability, and fix crashes.

Firebase may process technical information such as:

• App version.
• Device type and model.
• Operating-system version.
• General performance data.
• Crash reports.
• Diagnostic information.
• Technical identifiers, such as app-instance identifiers or similar identifiers.
• Approximate region or country, depending on Google’s processing and configuration.

This information helps us understand whether Gah is working properly and which parts of the application need improvement.

We do not intentionally send your personal calendar content to Firebase. This means your personal events, birthdays, notes, selected images, reminders, and personal calendar preferences are not intentionally included in crash reports or diagnostic data.

Gah does not use Firebase to sell your personal information, show third-party ads, or create advertising profiles based on your personal calendar content.

Firebase is operated by Google. Google’s handling of information collected through Firebase is governed by Google’s own terms, privacy policies, and data-processing practices.

The current version of Gah does not require you to create an account.

Gah does not maintain its own user account database for personal calendar content.

Gah does not:

• Sell or rent your personal information.
• Use third-party advertising networks.
• Upload your personal events to our own servers.
• Upload your birthdays, notes, reminders, or selected images to our own servers.
• Use your personal calendar content for marketing.
• Create advertising profiles based on your personal events.
• Track your personal calendar content across applications or websites.
• Request access to information that is not reasonably necessary for an app feature.

Information processed by Gah may be used to:

• Display dates, events, holidays, and calendar information.
• Save and manage personal events and reminders locally on your device.
• Calculate sunrise, sunset, and related information.
• Deliver notifications requested by you.
• Remember your application preferences.
• Diagnose errors, crashes, and performance issues through Firebase.
• Improve the stability, design, and functionality of the application.
• Protect the application and its users from misuse.
• Comply with applicable legal obligations.

We do not use your personal calendar content for purposes unrelated to the features you choose to use.

Personal events, birthdays, reminders, selected images, notes, notification preferences, and application settings are generally stored locally on your device.

You can remove locally stored information by deleting the relevant content inside the app or uninstalling Gah, subject to your device settings, backups, and operating-system behavior.

Crash, diagnostic, and performance information may be processed and retained through Firebase according to Google’s applicable settings, terms, and retention controls.

Because Gah does not currently require an account, there is no separate Gah online account that must be deleted.

Gah does not sell your personal information.

Information may be processed or shared only in limited circumstances, including the following.

Firebase Gah uses Firebase for diagnostics, crash reporting, performance monitoring, and app improvement.

Firebase may process technical information as described in this Privacy Policy.

We do not intentionally send your personal calendar content to Firebase.

Apple services Apple may process information when you download Gah, receive notifications, enable device analytics, or use operating-system features.

Apple’s handling of that information is governed by Apple’s own privacy policies and terms.

Legal requirements We may disclose information if reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, a valid legal request, a court order, or to protect the rights and safety of Gah, its users, or others.

Because personal calendar content is stored locally on your device and is not uploaded to our own servers, we may not possess or have access to the information requested.

Business changes If responsibility for Gah is transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or other change in responsibility, information under our control may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law and appropriate privacy protections.

Gah may request permissions for features such as:

• Location access.
• Selected photo access.
• Notifications.

Permission requests will be presented through your device. You may refuse or revoke permissions through your device settings.

Refusing a permission will not prevent you from using unrelated parts of Gah, but the feature requiring that permission may be unavailable or may not function correctly.

Depending on your device, app version, and applicable law, you may be able to:

• Review or change Gah’s permissions.
• Disable location access.
• Disable notifications.
• Remove personal events and reminders.
• Remove selected images.
• Delete locally stored Gah information by uninstalling the application.
• Limit certain diagnostic sharing through device settings where available.
• Contact us with a privacy question or request.

We may need to verify a request before responding.

We cannot retrieve, export, or delete information that remains exclusively on your device and has never been transmitted to us.

Gah is a general-audience calendar application and is not specifically directed toward children under the age of 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that personal information from a child has been collected contrary to applicable law, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

Users who have not reached the age of legal majority in their jurisdiction should use Gah with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian.

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information under our control.

However, no device, storage system, diagnostics service, or method of electronic transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

You are responsible for protecting access to your device and maintaining appropriate backups of information that is important to you.

Gah may be available in multiple countries. Privacy and consumer-protection rights may differ depending on where you live.

Where applicable law gives you rights that cannot be limited by this Privacy Policy, those rights continue to apply.

Gah may contain links to third-party websites or services.

We do not control the privacy practices, security, or content of independent third parties.

You should review the policies of a third-party service before providing information to it.

We may update this Privacy Policy when Gah’s features, technology, legal obligations, or privacy practices change.

The updated version will be published with a revised effective date. When required by law, we will provide additional notice or request your consent.
